This database lets you look up dimensional and structural properties for standard rolled and welded steel sections without digging through printed handbooks or manufacturer catalogs. Pick a standard (the country or organization that publishes the section table), narrow down by manufacturing process (hot-rolled or cold-rolled), then section group (the shape family — I-beam, channel, angle, hollow section, etc.), and finally the specific designation (e.g. W44X335, or a European IPE300) to see its full property table.
