PV3D - Pressure Vessel 3D Model AutoCAD Plugin

PV3D is a plugin for AutoCADĀ® Software that allows users to create 3D models of pressure vessels. The plugin can be used to create a variety of pressure vessels, including those with 2:1 ellipsoidal heads, hemispherical heads, cylindrical shells, conical skirts, and cylindrical skirts. Users can also create custom skirt anchor chairs that comply with the Process Industry Practices (PIP) VEFV1108 standard.

In addition to creating 3D models, PV3D can also be used to generate elevation views and plan views of pressure vessels. This information can be used to create general arrangement drawings. PV3D can also generate bills of materials (BOMs) for pressure vessels and nozzles. These BOMs can be exported to Excel CSV files.

  8. Adds ASME B16.5 weldneck, slip-on, long weldneck, and blind flanges to any nozzle up to 24 inches in size
  9. Adds ASME B16.47 series A or series B weldneck and blind flanges to any nozzle greater than 24 inches in size up to 60 inches
  10. Adds ANSI spiral wound gaskets or ANSI flat CAF gaskets for ASME B16.5 flanges
  11. Adds ANSI spiral wound gaskets for ASME B16.47 series A flanges
  12. Adds ANSI spiral wound gaskets or ANSI flat CAF gaskets for ASME B16.47 series B flanges
  13. Calculates the weight of pressure vessel main components (heads, shells, skirt)
  14. Calculates the weight of nozzle assembly for each nozzle (nozzle neck, reinforcement pad, flange, blind flange, gasket, flange bolts & nuts)
  15. Calculates head blank size diameter and shell development or unfold length
  16. Creates bills of materials (BOMs) for vessel main components and nozzles

PV3D is a Plugin for AutoCADĀ® Software. It is used to develop 3D model of pressure vessel using input parameters. It generates accurate 3D model and can be used to create Elevation View and Plan View for General Arrangement Drawing. It also generates Bill of Materials for vessel and nozzles. These can be exported to excel csv file.
